Walls.

Some we build to win.
Some we build to stay out of it.
And some, the hardest ones, we build inside ourselves.

But here’s the thing about a wall.

Turn it slightly, and it becomes a door.

Look at it long enough, and what seemed like emptiness reveals itself as space. Possibility. Room enough for something entirely new.

Change how you see, and you change what you see.

Now is the time to paint a future without boundaries.

This project brings works of art created by children and community members alongside professional artists out into the open. Displayed on construction hoardings and wall surfaces throughout the city, these works are woven into the fabric of everyday life.

Through participatory workshops and public exhibitions, the connections between children, artists, local communities, and businesses become visible, tangible, and alive within the cityscape.

When the way we see something changes, what once felt like a wall transforms into something of unexpected value.

From Ikebukuro, STUDIO201 proposes that possibility.

Follow the journey of future exhibitions and artworks on WORKS.

This autumn, it begins at Sunshine City.
