The theme is "Sunshine Aquarium".
Here’s a sneak peek at the dot artwork supervised by each artist.
What kind of world will emerge?
Stay tuned to find out!
Be sure to come and see them at the venue!
Hidden within this artwork are fins, patterns, and other details from 20 kinds of sea creatures that live at Sunshine Aquarium. I designed it as a playful hunt, so you can enjoy the same thrill of discovery you’d feel when spotting them at the real aquarium.
Take your time exploring the picture and enjoy that “Found it!” moment.
You may even spot different creatures before and after your visit.

KUWAHARA
This piece was inspired by the mudskippers gathered on the shore of their tank, opening and closing their mouths as if holding a little meeting of their own. Using colorful dots, I brought to life the fun of wondering, “What could they be talking about?” along with each one’s unique expression and personality.
I hope you enjoy these chatterbox mudskippers as they emerge from a sea of tiny colors!

NAOI
Focused on Sunshine Lagoon, the main tank at Sunshine Aquarium, this artwork captures the world of zebra sharks and rays as they swim with power and elegance.
If you’re planning a visit, I hope it builds excitement and gives you a vivid taste of what awaits. If you’ve already been, I hope it sparks warm conversations and shared memories with your loved ones.

Struck by the joyful faces of children watching the creatures, I was inspired to capture this very scene. Reaching beyond the glass barrier that separates viewer from animal, this piece carries my wish: “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if moments like this could really happen?”
Even with only dots to work with, I took great care to bring out the otters’ charm, from their sweet expressions to their tiny, adorable paws.
